A few minutes of caution might prevent a crime

If last week is any example, our great communities have been experiencing their own mini-crime waves.

We've had an ongoing series of vehicle break-ins that don't seem to follow a pattern or be specific to any neighborhood, and last week alone in Del Mar and Solana Beach, there were six vehicle break-ins, three residential burglaries, two commercial burglaries and several reports of assaults. Put them all together, and this doesn't seem like such a safe place.
