Event lends 'poker' hand to support retired racehorses

The California Retirement Management Account Foundation (CARMA), which raises funds to care for retired racehorses in California, hosted a Poker in Paradise charity tournament on July 24 at the Del Mar Hilton.
Prizes included a coveted Turf Club Table at Del Mar's Pacific Classic Day, one year of Pro Flowers deliveries, box seats for 4 for an entire season at Santa Anita, Pamplemousse Grille dinner for four, a year's online subscription to Daily Racing Form, an Erica Nordean art print and tickets to the 2010 Breeders' Cup at Churchill Downs.
