Courts and all San Diego city, county, state and federal government offices will be closed Friday in observance of Independence Day.

Parking meters will not be enforced in San Diego and most cities in the county, except Del Mar, and there will be no mail delivery. Banks will be closed.

City libraries will be closed on Friday and Saturday. County libraries will stay open on Friday, but will be closed on Saturday.

County and city parks will be open, as will the Balboa Park, Mission Bay and Torrey Pines municipal golf courses.

City recreation and county teen and community centers will be closed. San Diego's municipal pools will be open.

There will be no delay in trash, yard waste and curbside recycling collection in San Diego.

Normal government services will resume Monday.

Metropolitan Transit System trolleys and busses will operate on a holiday schedule, as will North County Transit District service.
